Ill Nino Unleash Video for ‘La Epidemia’

Victory Records Their sixth studio album, ‘Epidemia,’ was released last week (Oct. 22), and now  Ill Niño has unveiled the video for ‘La Epidemia.’ Both the song and clip feature  Emmure vocalist Frankie Palmeri. The video for ‘La Epidemia’ was filmed at The Rave in Milwaukee, Wis. It features performance footage of the band, along with some backstage shots. Palmeri and Ill Nino’s Cristian Machado are shown doing vocals in an empty area of the venue. It wasn’t difficult to line up their schedules, since Ill Nino and Emmure were on tour together at the time. Machado spoke with SMNnews about their new album. The singer stated, “I truly feel it embodies who the band really is without compromising musical growth. To define our way of Latin Metal was the intention and, if we got 75 percent of the way there, we succeeded. The feeling, at the end of the day, should be had by the fans and not the band.” “The more we focus on our songs and just that, the better we are as band,” Machado continues. “Too much outside influence can sometimes ruin creativity and focus. In our case, we’ve walked the fine line between being focused and having identity crisis for a long time. These personal creative differences are not audible on ‘Epidemia,’ making it one of our strongest and more focused efforts.” After wrapping up that tour with Emmure, Ill Nino only has one other show currently on their 2012 calendar. They will perform in Marietta, Ga. on Dec. 8. Bullet for My Valentine Announce New Album Title + Release Date

Sony Bullet for My Valentine are finally picking things up again with the announcement that their next album has a title — ‘Temper Temper’ — and also has a Feb. 11 release date. Not so coincidentally, Bullet for My Valentine also has a new single called ‘Temper Temper’ as well. It recently debuted online and is expected to arrive as a download next month. The ‘Temper Temper’ album finds the band reuniting with Don Gilmore, the producer behind their 2010 release ‘Fever.’ Earlier this year, singer Matt Tuck revealed that the band had been working on new music in Thailand . It’s been a pretty busy year for Tuck, who has also spent time recording and touring with his new project, AxeWound . The group recently issued their debut disc, ‘Vultures.’ That, combined with the fact that guitarist Michael “Padge” Paget recently underwent back surgery , may have had something to do with the album arriving in 2013 rather than this year. Paget had his surgery after the album was complete, and has been spending his time recuperating. NME reports that Bullet for My Valentine will hit the road shortly after the album’s release as four shows have already been announced in their native U.K. Stops include Birmingham’s O2 Academy (March 12), Glasgow’s O2 Academy (March 13), Manchester’s O2 Apollo (March 15), and London’s Roundhouse (March 17). What If Every Rocker Turned Into a Zombie?

Charley Gallay, Getty Images / MakeMeZombie.com If the famed zombie apocalypse were to happen, it’s obvious that rock and metal’s finest musicians would be among the most dangerous. Being starstruck certainly wouldn’t help as you attempt to run for your life, and those brave enough to ask for an autograph would most likely end up as brunch for the undead. It may be a strange experience meeting the zombified version of your favorite musician, so to help in the identification process and limit any sort of uncertainty, we’ve put together a collage with the theme of ‘What If Every Rocker Turned Into a Zombie’ with the help of MakeMeZombie.com . Axl Rose: ‘Live?!’ vs. ‘Like a Suicide’ Even if Axl Rose had the zombie infection consume his brain, leaving the singer as nothing more than a mindless flesh-eater, he probably still wouldn’t appear for a Guns N’ Roses reunion. Perhaps the feud is instinct by this point, where even the most primal areas of his brain retains the opinion that his former bandmates are jerks. Scott Gries, Getty Images / MakeMeZombie.com Corey Taylor vs. Gory Taylor Assuming Corey Taylor isn’t wearing his Slipknot mask when he gets bit, this is the singer’s future zombie face. It’s a shame that those lovely blue eyes will turn a rotten yellow, but Taylor is still in there somewhere, as evidenced by the cigarette carefully placed behind his ear. Ethan Miller, Getty Images / MakeMeZombie.com Nikki Sixx vs. Nikki Sixx Sixx Sixx Now that’s a zombie face! Drug overdoses couldn’t kill Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx , even when he was actually pronounced dead, so this zombified Nikki Sixx is strictly hypothetical. Valerie Macon, Getty Images / MakeMeZombie.com Amy Lee: ‘My Last Breath’ vs. ‘Bring Me to Life’ Zombie or not, Evanescence singer Amy Lee can still inspire a profound rush of blood to you-know-where. If you find zombie Amy Lee during your escape from hoards of flesh-eating freaks, we strongly advise against trying to put the moves on Lee. Such a mistake will result in dire consequences … use your imagination. Danny Martindale, Getty Images / MakeMeZombie.com James Hetfield vs. James Deadfield Admittedly, Metallica’s James Hetfield looks pretty awesome as a zombie. As one of the kings of the ‘tough metal guy’ face, Hetfield would likely be seen as some sort of zombie elite. Though a zombie Hetfield would be depressing for fans, at least there would be a guarantee of no more ‘Lulu’ performances. Stephen Lovekin, Getty Images / MakeMeZombie.com Rob Halford: ‘Living After Midnight’ vs. ‘Killing Machine’ Here comes the Killing Machine! Not even the ‘Metal God’ is immortal against the zombie virus. Imagine Rob Halford riding full speed on the ‘Painkiller’ motorcycle, sawing through drooling undead monsters in an attempt to save the world. He’d leave a fairly impressive line of entrails behind, but if Halford was to get bit, this would be the result. Theo Wargo, Getty Images / MakeMeZombie.com Dave Mustaine vs. Grave Mustaine Damn, zombie Dave Mustaine looks a little worse for the ware in his zombified state. Apparently, the zombie virus causes a select few to develop a nasty case of lazy eye. Have you ever seen a carrot-topped zombie? If so, kindly tell us what film in the comments section. Seriously, we need to see a redheaded zombie. Kevin Winter, Getty Images / MakeMeZombie.com Maynard James Keenan: ‘The Patient’ vs. ‘The Hollow’ It would be a great tragedy to lose the brains of Maynard James Keenan , especially if they’re eaten by infected freaks. If you stumble upon the brain of Maynard Keenan during your exodus from Arizona, please preserve it in a jar for the possibility of some great post-apocalyptic music. George De Sota, Getty Images / MakeMeZombie.com Trent Reznor: ‘Pretty’ vs. ‘Hate Machine’ Tough break, Trent . One of those damn zombies snatched out your eyeball and sucked out your brilliant brain through the socket. Admittedly, the Nine Inch Nails mastermind still looks pretty handsome, and as long as that gorgeous wife of his remains healthy, an undead life could still have its moments. Ethan Miller, Getty Images / MakeMeZombie.com ‘The Prince of Darkness’ vs. ‘The Prince of Deadness’ Sharon!!! Ozzy Osbourne looks pretty terrifying as a member of the undead. The ‘Bark at the Moon’ singer would probably be better suited as a werewolf, but unfortunately the choice rarely belongs to the victim. Charley Gallay, Getty Images / MakeMeZombie.com Rob Zombie vs. uhhhhh… Rob Zombie Oh man, we tried to zombify  Rob Zombie , but he ended up looking exactly the same! Could it be that the musician and filmmaker has been among the walking dead this entire time? If so, this whole zombie apocalypse thing could happen during Zombie’s next altercation with Marilyn Manson. If he sinks his teeth into Manson, the virus would spread throughout rock concerts worldwide. We’re not about to stop going to shows, so the infection seems unavoidable. Goodbye, cruel world; a life without rock concerts would turn our brains into mush anyway. Buckcherry to Release New Album ‘Confessions’ in Early 2013

Century Media Records After signing with a new record label, Century Media,  Buckcherry have announced they will be releasing a new album. ‘Confessions’ is due in early 2013 via Century Media in the United States and Eleven Seven Music in the rest of the world. ‘Confessions’ is based on the seven deadly sins, and is part of a larger vision that includes a film written by frontman Josh Todd, who based the album’s lyrics on his childhood and transformation into adulthood. “The time has come to finally announce the release of our sixth LP, ‘Confessions,’” says Todd. “This is our coolest album yet and I think a lot of people will relate. If you love BC you are going to get a chance to be part of a great story – join the revolution and let’s rock!” “This is, by far, our most ambitious record,” says guitarist Keith Nelson. “We are very proud of the work we’ve done and we are looking forward to presenting it to our fans.” Buckcherry’s last album, 2010′s ‘All Night Long’ debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the singles ‘Dead,’ ‘It’s a Party’ and the title track. Their most successful album was 2006′s platinum selling ’15,’ which featured the major rock hit ‘Crazy Bitch’ and the cross-over smash ‘Sorry.’ Buckcherry will get back on the road soon, appearing in Japan later this month and doing a U.K. tour starting Nov. 20. They have a U.S. date scheduled on Dec. 28 in Mt. Pleasant,  Mich. New Limp Bizkit Song ‘Lightz (City of Angels)’ Surfaces Online

YouTube Limp Bizkit  are back with a new song, ‘Lightz (City of Angels),’ which surfaced online over the weekend. A music video for the song had appeared on YouTube but was since taken down. However, you can still listen to the tune below. Frontman Fred Durst  sent out a  tweet to fans congratulating him on the track, saying, “Thank you, but it is NOT our first single / video. It was leaked prematurely.” The song ‘Lightz’ is a little bit more poppy than some of the group’s late ’90s rock efforts and shows some evolution in their sound. Durst both sings and raps on the track, and it has more of a anthemic yet melodic feel to it. However, there is definitely something for the rock fans as Wes Borland gets in a solid guitar solo midway into the track. The tune will likely appear on the band’s upcoming Cash Money records debut album, ‘Stampede of the Disco Elephants.’ In related news, the group is working on a new music video for the ‘Urban Assault Version’ of ‘Ready to Go,’ their collaboration with rapper Lil’ Wayne . The band has posted shots from the video shoot here , here , here , and here .
