Anthrax, Exodus + Municipal Waste Sign On for 2013 Metal Alliance Tour

Metal Alliance The Metal Alliance tour is coming back in 2013 with its third-ever installment. Having delivered some powerful lineups in the past, Metal Alliance has come out with its biggest bill yet, featuring Anthrax , Exodus , Municipal Waste and Holy Grail — and they haven’t even announced the entire lineup yet! Last year , Metal Alliance pumped out a bill focused on death metal, deathcore and heavy metal, committing DevilDriver, the Faceless, Dying Fetus, Job for a Cowboy, 3 Inches of Blood and Impending Doom to the tour. In its inaugural trek, the tour caked itself in sludge with Helmet, Saint Vitus, Crowbar, Kylesa, Red Fang, Howl and the Atlas Moth. In 2013, however, it’s all about thrash (so far). The 2013 Metal Alliance tour will announce the rest of its lineup soon, but Anthrax will likely remain as the headliners. In an added bonus, Anthrax are set to perform their classic ‘Among the Living’ album in full. Boots will surely connect with faces during Anthrax’s set, especially as the thrash legends launch into ‘Among the Living’ tracks such as ‘Caught in a Mosh,’ ‘I Am the Law’ and ‘Indians.’ The Metal Alliance website promises that the tour will begin in March 2013, with dates and additional bands to be announced soon. General admission tickets will be available on Jan. 11. Stay tuned for more updates on the 2013 Metal Alliance tour.
