YouTube Slash is once again delving into the animated world, but this time with a more sinister turn in the video for ‘Bad Rain.’ The guitar great and his animated counterparts turn up as the house band at a strip club that holds a dark secret. In the video, an older gentleman enters the club and is immediately transfixed by the fetching redhead with the snake tattoo dancing upon the stage while Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators play in the background. The woman has seemingly every man in the place glued to her every move, but the latest arrival is the one garnering most of her attention. As she continues to mesmerize the gentleman in the front row, he starts to notice that the people around him are not what they seem. But we won’t give any more of the video away. Watch for yourself below. This isn’t the first time Slash has been involved with animation, as Velvet Revolver ‘s ‘ Dirty Little Thing ‘ clip had animated elements. The rocker also appeared in animated form for Disney’s ‘ Phineas and Ferb ‘ film. ‘Bad Rain’ appears on Slash’s latest album, ‘ Apocalyptic Love .’ In other Slash news, the guitarist and his band will perform on TBS’ ‘Conan’ on Oct. 4. The guitarist has been a longtime supporter of the late night host, famously donning a ‘I’m With Coco’ pin while performing on Jay Leno’s late night show. Watch Slash’s ‘Bad Rain’ Video ?
Liz Ramanand, Loudwire Slash and his gang are on a nonstop trek in promotion of their latest album ‘Apocalyptic Love’ and New York fans definitely showed them some love Tuesday night, Sept. 18, at Hammerstein Ballroom. Slash featuring Myles Kennedy (of Alter Bridge) & The Conspirators rocked the crowd with tunes that spread the span of Slash’s shredding career. Their set kicked off with ‘Halo’ off of the new record and they went on to play other fresh tracks such as ‘Bad Rain,’ ‘No More Heroes,’ ‘Not For Me’ as well as singles ‘Standing in the Sun’ and ‘You’re a Lie.’ They also performed a few songs from Slash’s first solo disc, including ‘Back From Cali,’ ‘Starlight,’ ‘We’re All Gonna Die’ and ‘Ghost.’ During the course of the night, Myles Kennedy belted out Guns N’ Roses classics ‘Night Train,’ ‘Rocket Queen,’ ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine,’ ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and the set closer ‘Paradise City.’ The Velvet Revolver tune ‘Slither’ made its way on the set list as well as the song ‘Been There Lately’ from Slash’s Snakepit. Slash to a guitar is the same as Myles Kennedy to a microphone — both are impeccable at what they do and to see them together onstage is an absolute treat. Speaking of a treat, Foxy Shazam took the stage to warm up the crowd and just seeing this band onstage causes excessive perspiration. Frontman Eric Nally sported a new blonde look as he sang, flipped, somersaulted, danced and bounced all over the stage. After a couple of concert goers shouted ‘You Suck’ and called Nally a derogatory name, the frontman gave them a few choice words Foxy Shazam style and proceeded to do his signature deed of smoking multiple cigarettes onstage — provided by the crowd members, of course. Every member of the band is constantly moving to the point where if you blink you may feel that you have missed a vital part of their set…chances are you probably did. With his latest solo album ‘Apocalyptic Love,’ Slash has been busy on tour with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators but things aren’t running so smoothly for his other band Velvet Revolver. In an interview with the Aquarian, Slash spoke candidly about Velvet Revolver’s current state. “Unfortunately, as for Velvet Revolver, we’ll remain on a hiatus until we find the right singer to replace Scott.” The guitar great did speak highly
The wait is over, people! After nearly two entire months since Slash released his latest solo record, the legendary guitarist is already beginning to work on an even newer album! Though it may seem somewhat premature, Slash attributes his constant writing to the direct product of his enthusiasm and the energy he’s acquired from working with his backing band, Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. “I definitely feel like I’m cresting
