Not to mention, Black Veil Brides have become the first band to enter the Cage Match Hall of Fame twice. They first entered the Hall of Fame for their tune ‘Broken.’ Black Veil Brides and their BVB Army took down their final challenger Bullet for My Valentine after beating out heavy hitters Asking Alexandria , Coheed and Cambria , HIM and Halestorm along the way. Congrats to Black Veil Brides and their fans, whose unrelenting votes helped get their track ‘In the End’ to join songs from bands such as Papa Roach, Avenged Sevenfold, Motionless In White, Korn, and many more in Loudwire’s Cage Match Hall of Fame. The band will be hitting the road in February for the Soundwave Festival but they have also recently announced a dates for the HardDrive Live Tour, in the United States, where they will be trekking with Halestorm and Young Guns. Clutch Unveil 2013 North American ‘Earth Rocker’ Tour Dates
Liz Ramanand, Loudwire Clutch are just getting ready to kick off their ‘Earth Rocker’ World Tour this Tuesday (Jan. 22) in London, and there’s now a North American tour leg for fans to get excited about as well. The veteran rockers have revealed that their latest batch of shows will feature primary support act, Orange Goblin, as well as upstart rockers Kyng and Lionize. The tour gets underway March 8 at Bogart’s in Cincinnati and currently runs through an April 20 finale in Baltimore. Drummer Jean-Paul Gaster said of the North American run, “We have a great bill lined up for the U.S. tour that kicks off in March. Get there early to check out Kyng, Lionize and the mighty Orange Goblin.” ‘Earth Rocker’ is not only the name of Clutch’s tour, it’s also the title of their forthcoming album. The band’s Weathermaker Music label has confirmed a worldwide March 19th release for the disc, with pre-orders and special bundle packages currently being offered here . The lead single for the album is the title track. It’s currently streaming through Brooklyn Vegan and can be heard below. In addition to their upcoming tour, the band will drop in on the South By Southwest festival in Austin. An exact date, location and set time have yet to be revealed, but the information will be announced shortly. Hollywood Undead and Black Veil Brides Score Top 10 Debuts on Billboard Album Chart

Hollywood Undead’s third release, ‘ Notes From the Underground ,’ landed at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart this week, while Black Veil Brides enjoyed their first-ever Top 10 entry with ’ Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones ,’ which arrived at No. 7. Hollywood Undead moved 53,000 copies in their debut week, finishing behind the 73,000 sold by this week’s chart champ, contemporary Christian artist Chris Tomlin. However, ‘Notes From the Underground’ gives the band their highest debut yet in their career, as their last album, ‘American Tragedy,’ arrived at No. 4 back in 2011. As for Black Veil Brides, ‘Wretched and Divine’ sold 42,000 copies in its opening week. The group also shot to the No. 1 spot on the iTunes Top Album Chart and the iTunes Rock Chart. To show how the band’s fan base has grown, ‘Wretched and Divine’ nearly doubled in first week sales what the group did on their 2011 release, ‘Set the World on Fire.’ Black Veil Brides are currently on the ‘Church of the Wild Ones World Tour,’ with dates booked through a March 8 finale in San Francisco. Finnish love metallers HIM heat things up with their latest single ‘Strange World’ off of their compilation disc ‘XX-Two Decades of Love Metal.’ The song itself was originally released by Kevin Grivois, known by the artist name Ké, in the ’90s. It’s said to be one of the personal favorites of HIM frontman Ville Valo. The band has dates for scheduled for some European festivals; go here to see dates.
