Green Day were scheduled to play a show in Bologna, Italy tonight (September 2) but were forced to cancel after frontman Billie Joe Armstrong was hospitalized. Although Armstrong’s cause of illness was not disclosed, drummer Tre Cool and bassist Mike Dirnt posted the video below delivering a personal message to fans. The forty second clip kicks off with Mike Dirnt talking to the camera with a message to the fans
