If you’re a Green Day fan, then the next several months are going to be good ones for you, as the band is flooding the marketplace with material. Not all of it is new, either. Ahead of the trio’s upcoming trilogy -’Green Day ¡Uno!’ (Sept. 25), ‘Green Day ¡Dos!’ (Nov. 13) and ‘Green Day ¡Tré!’ (Jan. 15)- the band is also planning a career-spanning, eight-CD box set, due Sept. 4.

Green Day Become Third Act Ever to Debut Atop Billboard Rock Songs Chart

Congrats to Green Day! It was a big opening week for the trio, who just became only the third act in Billboard’s Nielsen BDS-based Rock Songs chart to debut at No. 1. The song that accomplished the feat was ‘Oh, Love,’ the lead single from the ‘¡Uno!’ portion of their album trilogy. Billboard reports that the track made 13 million first-week audience impressions with a 145 radio stations reporting on
