Frederick M. Brown, Getty Images Ozzy Osbourne ‘s son Jack and his fiance Lisa Stelly reportedly will be getting married this weekend in Hawaii. Ozzy and his wife Sharon will be welcoming Stelly, who is the mother of Jack’s 5-month-old daughter Pearl, into their family as the low-key wedding takes place either this coming Saturday (Oct. 5) or Sunday (Oct. 6). According to an undisclosed source, the New York Post has learned that Jack and Lisa recently sent out the invitations and asked their family and friends to keep the affair hush, hush. “They just sent the invites out and are asking guests to sign non-disclosure agreements,” says the anonymous source. Jack Osbourne has gone through a roller-coaster ride of emotions this year. He became a father on April 24, but only weeks later revealed he is battling multiple sclerosis . The first piece of news was met with the greatest of excitement by the Osbourne family, with his mother Sharon boasting, “It’s like a new life. There’s nothing like it, nothing like to witness it. It’s just an amazing event. You go through every emotion. You go through joy and you thank God that everybody is healthy and happy. You realize how lucky you are. It’s like life has gone full cycle in our family.” The reaction was quite different when Jack was diagnosed with MS, but Stelly has stood beside her future husband throughout it all. “It’s something great to focus on,” Stelly says about the upcoming wedding. “Even when I was at the hospital, we were discussing the plans. It’s going to be great. After we had the baby we decided we didn’t want to waste any more time.” As always, we’d like to give our best wishes to Jack and Lisa, along with both the Osbourne and Stelly families. Vevo.com After watching Three Days Grace ‘s new video for ‘ Chalk Outline ,’ it might be worth it to steer clear of the general vicinity of singer Adam Gontier. The clip for the band’s latest chart-topping single focuses primarily on the singer walking the streets of Brooklyn, similar to the Verve’s Richard Ashcroft in the ‘ Bittersweet Symphony ‘ video years ago. While nothing bad happens to Gontier as he belts out the song through the streets, there are a few altercations and accidents that occur around him. The Shane Drake-directed clip is also fun for fans of the band, as the group’s other members make cameos in the background of scenes. ‘Chalk Outline’ is the No. 1 rock hit from the band’s newly released, ‘ Transit of Venus ‘ album. Drummer Neil Sanderson previously stated of the disc , “We went for a tighter, more articulated sound on this record. The music we were writing was a little more intricate than in the past, and we’ve been experimenting with new instruments … We wanted to present these new ideas concisely without going over-the-top in ambiance and overall production.” Look for Three Days Grace supporting the album this fall with club dates beginning Oct. 8 in Dallas. Amy Sussman, Getty Images Legendary Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne is set to appear on the CBS daytime program ‘The Talk,’ which is co-hosted Ozzy’s wife, Sharon Osbourne . The Oct. 9 appearance is scheduled to celebrate Sharon’s 60th birthday and will feature appearances by family members, friends and some unique surprises. Along with ‘The Prince of Darkness,’ confirmed guests for Sharon Osbourne’s televised 60th birthday celebration include daughter and co-host of ‘Fashion Police,’ Kelly Osbourne, as well as Nick Cannon from ‘America’s Got Talent,’ on which Sharon has acted as one of its three judges. You may remember Sharon Osbourne’s on-air breakdown over her son Jack Osbourne earlier this year while co-hosting ‘The Talk.’ Jack had just been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and was soon invited as a guest on ‘The Talk’ to speak candidly about his condition. Jack Osbourne has not been officially confirmed to appear on ‘The Talk’ for his mother’s 60th birthday celebration, but since surprises have been promised by CBS, he very well may drop by. Sharon Osbourne’s ‘Fabulous 60th Birthday Extravaganza’ will air on Tuesday, Oct. 9. RobZombie.com Musician and director Rob Zombie recently premiered his latest movie ‘The Lords of Salem’ at the Toronto Film Festival. It generated quite a buzz and a bidding war for the right to distribute the horror flick. Anchor Bay paid a cool $2 million to distribute ‘The Lords of Salem,’ and now Zombie has unveiled a teaser trailer for the movie, which is set for a 2013 release. Zombie recently spoke to Loudwire Radio about ‘The Lords of Salem,’ which was spawned several years ago when he was in Massachusetts for a wedding. He was in the hotel lobby and bought a book about the Salem Witch Trials to read and kill some time. “It just got me thinking about it and I just came up with this idea for the Salem, a very rough idea,” Zombie recalls. “And I kind of jotted down a few notes and forgot all about it. And then, about seven years later, the opportunity came up to make a film but, the only stipulation was — I mean, the budget was the first stipulation but, they just wanted something with a supernatural edge and I remembered this idea and that’s how I sort of dug it out of mothballs and brought it out and started working on it.” The plot of the movie revolves around some radio DJs (one who is played by Zombie’s wife Sheri Moon Zombie) that play a heavy metal song on the air that arrived in a mysterious box. They end up unleashing a coven of 17th century witches. Zombie’s bandmate John 5 composed the music for the movie. Zombie is currently in the midst of the Twins of Evil tour with Marilyn Manson. The U.S. leg of the tour wraps up, appropriately enough, on Halloween. As far as the next Rob Zombie studio album, he also told Loudwire Radio it is finished and should be released sometime after Christmas. Watch the Teaser Trailer for ‘The Lords of Salem’
Epitaph Records Stop what you’re doing immediately and check out this awesome news. Extreme hardcore heroes Converge have released a full stream of their insanely anticipated eighth studio album, ‘All We Love We Leave Behind.’ For those of you who are still reading this, we’re assuming that you’re already listening to the album and somehow remembered that you were reading words a short time ago, so for everyone still with us, lets go a little bit in-depth about the new Converge record. Produced by Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou, ‘All We Love We Leave Behind’ is a perfect continuation of Converge’s constant evolution while still sticking to their roots. The album holds the same intensity and nuances found on previous Converge albums, but the overall product doesn’t at all begin to play off of their prior material. It’s still Converge, but it remains incredibly fresh and surprising even to the more devoted followers of the band. In a recent interview with JohnLongbottom.co.uk , Converge vocalist Jacob Bannon explains the process in creating ‘All We Love We Leave Behind.’ “We put a lot of emotional investment in writing our material,” begins Bannon. “It takes a lot of time, emotionally and psychologically to actually write the music and write the lyrics, so when you’re recording you just try and record the best piece of music to fit your vision. We’re definitely perfectionists, this is our craft. Some people don’t understand that and just hear our music as a lot of noise, they don’t necessarily understand what’s going on, apart from perhaps the loud volume, but there’s a lot of method to what we do.” Listen to Converge’s ‘All We Love We Leave Behind’ in full below.
