Metallica ‘s hard-hitting classic ‘Seek and Destroy’ advances to face  Avenged Sevenfold and their inspirational track ‘Seize the Day. Meanwhile, in the other half of the bracket, Pantera ‘s thrashy ‘F—ing Hostile’ survived and advanced to meet up with the equally brutal ‘Wait and Bleed’ from Slipknot . Which of the remaining four acts have the best football anthem? That’s for you to decide. 2013 Loudwire Rock Bowl Quarterfinals Bracket You voted, we tabulated and eight rock titans have lived to see another day in the 2013 Loudwire Rock Bowl. There were some battles that were tight, but all of the acts remaining can thank their fans for the support they’ve showed in advancing them to the quarterfinals in the fight to determine football’s best hard rock anthem. Iconic metal bands like Metallica and Pantera will send their songs ‘Seek and Destroy’ and ‘F–ing Hostile’ up against next generation rockers like Papa Roach and Korn with their anthems ‘Last Resort’ and “Freak on a Leash.’ Slipknot and Rob Zombie will do battle with ‘Wait and Bleed’ squaring off against ‘Superbeast,’ while Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold send ‘Indestructible’ and ‘Seize the Day’ into the stadium. Who will survive and advance to the semifinals? That’s up to you. The quarterfinals of the 2013 Loudwire Rock Bowl runs through 10AM ET this Wednesday (Jan. 30), and with a shorter voting period, the bands need your help more than ever. 2013 Loudwire Rock Bowl – Round 1

Super Bowl XLVII, featuring the San Francisco 49ers vs. the Baltimore Ravens, is just around the corner, and we’ve got football fever. And what goes better with some bone-crushing, hard-hitting gridiron action that some truly amped-up, adrenaline-fueled riffing and rocking. That’s what you’ll find in the 2013 Loudwire Rock Bowl, where we pit 16 football-ready tracks into a matchup to determine which song gets you hyped for some pigskin action the most. With only 16 songs, there will be some tough choices made. There are a number of tracks in our first round that are already stadium anthems and there’s no shortage of big name acts vying for gridiron domination. There are rock vets like Metallica and Pantera seeking a Loudwire Rock Bowl victory with some of their classic songs, but they’ll have to get past next generation cuts from  Five Finger Death Punch , Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat . What songs will emerge victorious? That’s for you to decide. You can vote in each of the eight first round matches every hour until Sunday, Jan. 27 at 11:59PM ET.
