Black Veil Brides vs. Coheed and Cambria – Cage Match

Suffocation vs. Dying Fetus – Death Match

Nuclear Blast / Relapse Death metal legends Suffocation  trampled British metalcore band Bring Me the Horizon in our last Death Match. Supported by their blood-bound fans, Suffocation were able to achieve a massive win over their popular opponents. Those same fans demanded a purely brutal competitor for Suffocation to face. You demanded it, and now we deliver. Dying Fetus put out one of last year’s best and heaviest death metal albums, ‘Reign Supreme,’ and also achieved a spot in our Death Match Hall of Fame for the punishing track ‘Subjected to a Beating.’ The band now returns with an insane new video for the technical masterwork ‘Second Skin,’ which just premiered on BloodyDisgusting.com . Halestorm vs. Nirvana Members + Paul McCartney – Cage Match

Former  Nirvana members Dave Grohl  and  Krist Novoselic  plus one-time touring member  Pat Smear  have teamed up with Beatles legend  Paul McCartney for the release of the collaborative track ‘Cut Me Some Slack.’ The song is off of the soundtrack to ‘Sound City,’ a documentary directed by Grohl. After Papa Roach rounded out 2012 with five straight victories and entrance into Loudwire’s Cage Match Hall of Fame, it’s time for two new bands to kick off 2013 with a massive matchup. Alice in Chains  have unleashed their new track ‘Hollow’ off of their highly anticipated upcoming disc, which is still untitled and set for a spring release. The forthcoming album will be the band’s follow-up to 2009’s ‘Black Gives Way to Blue.’ Buckcherry heat things up with their brand new single ‘Gluttony’ off of their sixth studio disc, ‘Confessions,’ due out Feb. 19.
