Clutch vs. Soundgarden – Cage Match

Soundgarden enter the Cage Match with their new single ‘By Crooked Steps’ off their latest album ‘King Animal.’ Coincidentally, the video for the song was directed by previous Cage Match contender Dave Grohl. Slipknot / Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor , along with Cheap Trick‘s Rick Nielsen and former Kyuss bassist Scott Reeder, collaborated with Dave Grohl  to create the track ‘From Can to Can’t.’ The song is featured on the soundtrack from Grohl’s documentary ‘Sound City.’ The soundtrack will be available on March 12. Killswitch Engage take the matchup by storm with their brand new single ‘In Due Time’ off of their forthcoming album ‘Disarm the Descent,’ which arrives April 2. The new disc is the band’s first with original vocalist Jesse Leach in over a decade. Love and Death vs. Ghost – Cage Match

Ghost enter the matchup with their brand new track ‘Secular Haze’ off of their forthcoming record ‘Infestissumam.’ The new disc is produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones, Death Angel) and will be released by Loma Vista Recordings. Brian ‘Head’ Welch , who many of us may know as Korn’s former guitarist, has a new band Love and Death and they have recently released their debut album ‘Between Here & Lost.’ They enter the Cage Match with their latest track ‘I W8 4 U’ featuring For Today’s Mattie Montgomery. Love and Death have U.S. dates lined up for February and March, while Head is also slated to play some reunion shows with Korn this year. Swedish rockers Avatar take the Cage Match by storm with their new track ‘Smells Like a Freakshow’ off the band’s fourth studio album and first proper American release titled ‘Black Waltz.’ Avatar have tour dates with Sevendust and Lacuna Coil in February and solo dates set for March.
