Stone Sour Win Rock Band of the Year in the 2012 Loudwire Music Awards

Roadrunner Records Kudos to Stone Sour  for winning Rock Band of the Year in the 2012 Loudwire Music Awards. In a heavily competitive heat, Stone Sour emerged as the victor with just over 23 percent of the final tally. The band’s big year was bolstered by their most ambitious release to date — ‘House of Gold & Bones, Pt. 1,’ which is only the first half of a two-part album project. Could that lead to a repeat victory in 2013? We’ll have to wait and see. As we stated, Stone Sour had a tough road to emerge as the victor. Halestorm gave them all they had, finishing second with close to 19.5 percent of the vote. With 10 nominees in the category, it speaks highly of the respect of the fan bases that only two of the competitors earned under five percent of the final sum. Congrats to Stone Sour  for nabbing the honor of  Rock Band of the Year in the 2012 Loudwire Music Awards.
