Fear Factory Unveil ‘The Industrialist’ Video

Frazer Harrison, Getty Images Fear Factory  released their latest album ‘The Industrialist’ in June, and the band has now premiered the video for the title track via Metal Injection (watch below). The beginning of the seven minute clip is similar to a lyric video, with words from the spoken section appearing on the screen. But once the song kicks in, it becomes a traditional video that mixes performance footage with imagery taken from the album artwork. Vocalist Burton C. Bell talked about ‘The Industrialist’ with Full Metal Jackie. “There’s something so tight about this record, it’s very natural even though it was a focused and a very deliberate album that we were writing and it all came very naturally to us,” Bell said. “We were very focused and I think that word right there, is the one thing that is on this record that doesn’t really appear on any other record, the focus of the music, the sounds, the aggression and the concept and just everything. Everything had it’s purpose and we knew exactly what we were doing, we knew exactly what we had to do.” Fear Factory will embark on a European tour with Devin Townsend beginning on Saturday, Oct. 27. They also have one U.S. date scheduled for Jan. 26, 2013, in West Hollywood. Watch Fear Factory’s ‘The Industrialist’ Video

Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell Joins Sammy Hagar for ‘Man in the Box’ at Birthday Bash

Kevin Winter / Frazer Harrison, Getty Images Sammy Hagar knows how to throw a bash, and it helps when you make sure that Alice in Chains singer-guitarist Jerry Cantrell is on the guest list. Cantrell made a guest appearance at Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina (Oct. 13) to take part in Hagar’s 65th birthday celebration. As it was Hagar’s special night, he was able to invite Cantrell onstage and jam through the Alice in Chains’ classic ‘Man in the Box.’ Also joining in the fun on the song was Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum , who kept the beat chugging along. While Hagar may not quite reach the vocal power of the late  Layne Staley during the performance (quite honestly, who can?), Cantrell appears to be on par with a blistering guitar solo and some swampy licks. The track met with rousing approval from the crowd and Hagar went in for the embrace with Cantrell after the song was complete. Cantrell has been quiet musically for most of the year. He was honored at the MusiCares MAP Fund benefit back in May and recently turned up to induct Heart into the Hollywood Walk of Fame last month. However, after a break to have shoulder surgery following last album’s tour cycle, Cantrell has been working with Alice in Chains again on a new album . Bret Michaels and Dee Snider Return for ‘All-Star Celebrity Apprentice’

Frazer Harrison/Brad Barket, Getty Images What’s better than watching Poison’s Bret Michaels and Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider going at it in their respective seasons of NBC’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice’? How about Bret Michaels taking on Dee Snider head-to-headbanging-head in the new ‘All-Star Celebrity Apprentice’ set to kick off in March of 2013. ‘All-Star Celebrity Apprentice’ is bringing back 13 of the shows most notorious and successful celebrities to duke it out for the all-star crown and tons of cash for their associated charities. Returning rocker Bret Michaels was the victor of his season back in 2010 even battling through several life-threatening illnesses to win the show. He’ll also serve as the only returning celebrity who has walked away as a champion from the past seasons. Michaels recently expressed his enthusiasm about the opportunity to compete again in a new interview. “Last time I was really sick, and this time I’m ready to come back, being a lifelong diabetic,” Michaels told the Today Show . “This year is going to be insane; the competition is going to be insane.” Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider didn’t win his season but was a formidable competitor, even keeping it very rock ‘n’ roll and breaking a finger during the competition. Other celebs on the roster include Gary Busey, Lisa Rinna, Lil Jon, Dennis Rodman, Stephen Baldwin, Trace Atkins, Marilu Henner, Penn Gillette, Claudia Jordan and Brande Roderick. The winner will score $250,000 for the charity of their choice. Ozzy Osbourne’s Son Jack Osbourne Marries Lisa Stelly in Hawaii

Frazer Harrison, Getty Images A few days after he took to Twitter to laugh off rumors of his impending nuptials, Ozzy Osbourne ‘s son Jack made them come true by walking down the aisle with his new bride, actress and model Lisa Stelly. The UK tabloid Hello! was on hand to witness the ceremony, which took place in Hawaii on Sunday (Oct. 7) — just two days before Jack’s mom Sharon celebrates her 60th birthday  (Oct. 9), and a little more than 30 years after she and Jack’s dad Ozzy tied the knot in Maui. According to Hello!, the guest list was appropriately exclusive with fewer than 50 attendees on hand — but it was, of course, an Osbourne family event, with Jack’s sister Kelly serving as one of the bridesmaids and both of the famous elder Osbournes on hand to celebrate his wedded bliss. The wedding caps a tumultuous year for Jack, who celebrated the birth of his and Stelly’s first child in April 24, then dealt with his multiple sclerosis diagnosis just a few weeks later. “Even when I was at the hospital, we were discussing the plans,” Stelly was quoted as saying in an earlier report. “It’s going to be great. After we had the baby we decided we didn’t want to waste any more time.” [button href=”http://loudwire.com/ozzy-osbourne-celebrate-sharon-60th-birthday-the-talk/” title=”Next: Ozzy to Celebrate Sharon’s 60th Birthday on ‘The Talk'” align=”center”]
