Bradley Kanaris, Getty Images Lamb of God ‘s Randy Blythe will learn in the coming weeks whether or not he’ll have to stand trial on criminal charges in the Czech Republic, as the case file has been sent to the prosecutor for review. Czech news site iDNES.cz reports that police have completed their investigation into the alleged manslaughter case and recommended that the vocalist be indicted and ordered to return to the Czech Republic to stand trial. The prosecutor in charge of the case will now review the facts and determine whether there is enough criminal liability to pursue the case further. A spokesperson for the Municipal Public Prosecutor’s Office in Prague, Stephanka Zenklova, stated that a decision on the matter will be made before the end of November. The singer was arrested this summer for his alleged involvement in the death of an audience member who sustained an injury after being thrown off the stage at their show. The injury didn’t immediately present itself, and the victim passed away a month later. Blythe spent 37 days in a Czech prison before finally being set free on bail. Shortly after arriving back in the U.S., the vocalist stated that he planned to return to face the charge and that the victim’s family had the right to some answers. He added, “I want my name cleared. I have to go around the world and tour, you know. That’s what I do. I’m not going to hide here. I’m an innocent man. I’m going to go to court and see what happens.” [button href=”http://loudwire.com/best-lamb-of-god-songs/” title=”Next: 10 Best Lamb of God Songs” align=”center”]

Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe to Learn if He’ll Stand Trial for Criminal Charges by November’s End
Lamb of God’s Upcoming Philadelphia Show To Be Broadcast Live on AXS TV
Epic Lamb of God are currently on tour supporting their latest album ‘Resolution.’ Returning to where their DVD ‘Killadelphia’ was shot, the Nov. 24 show at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia will be broadcast live on AXS TV . It will air from 10PM until 11:15PM Eastern time. AXS TV interviewed the band, minus vocalist Randy Blythe, about the upcoming live broadcast (watch below) and other topics. In regard to the biggest misconception about Lamb of God, drummer Chris Adler answered, “That we’re nice,” and the whole band laughed. “I guess there is some stigma in what we do,” Adler continued. “But the guys in the band and in most metal bands I know are really a bunch of teddy bears. We get all that stuff out in the music. If we didn’t play we might be bigger jerks than we are. It’s surprising to find out how nice and meek most of these guys are.” One glaring omission from the nearly five minute interview with host Danielle Demski was any question about Blythe’s legal issues following his imprisonment in the Czech Republic for alleged charges of manslaughter. In fact, the interview looks more like something out of ‘Entertainment Tonight’ or ‘Access Hollywood,’ which makes for some awkward moments. As part of the promotion for the broadcast, Lamb of God has given AXS TV a signed Willie Adler ESP guitar for a Facebook giveaway . Lamb of God’s ‘Resolution’ tour runs through December 16. In Flames and Sylosis are playing all dates. Hatebreed is on the bill until Nov. 19 when Hellyeah will take over for the remainder of the run. Watch Lamb of God Announcement and Interview
Randy Blythe: The U.S. Government Knew I Was Wanted by Czech Authorities
Bradley Kanaris, Getty Images Although Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe has spoken out multiple times about his arrest in the Czech Republic for manslaughter, along with his proclamation of innocence, Blythe has been relatively quiet since his return to American soil in August. Certainly overwhelmed by both media and fan support, Blythe articulated much about his experience in a brand new interview. Sitting down with WTVR-TV, the CBS affiliate based in Blythe’s home town of Richmond, Va., the vocalist revealed that the United States Department of Justice was indeed informed by the Czech government that Blythe was under investigation for manslaughter stemming from a 2010 concert incident. “The Czech government apparently contacted our government and said, ‘Hey, this guy [Blythe]; we want to investigate him,’ and the Justice Department did not cooperate.” Blythe continues, “I don’t think the Czechs were too pleased about that. I’m not too pleased about that. And the least they could’ve done is, if they aren’t going to cooperate, fine, at least let me know I’m wanted for manslaughter in the Czech Republic. We had no idea. As Blythe has stated in the past, he will not run from these charges or hide out in the United States. “I feel ethically responsible to go back there and face this charge,” declares Blythe. [The victim’s] family right now is in a lot of pain, and they deserve some answers. To lose a child is the worst possible thing a human can go through. I want my name cleared. I have to go around the world and tour, you know? That’s what I do. I’m not going to hide here. I’m an innocent man. I’m going to go to court and see what happens.” Lamb of God are set to embark on an extensive U.S. tour with In Flames , Hatebreed and Sylosis . Hellyeah will also be hopping on board for select dates. Gojira Unleash Music Video for ‘Explosia’ Featuring New York City Concert Footage
Roadrunner French metal masters Gojira have unleashed a punishing video for ‘Explosia,’ the opening track to the band’s 2012 full-length, ‘L’Enfant Sauvage.’ The performance featured in the ‘Explosia’ video was taken from Gojira’s recent performance at New York City’s Webster Hall on Aug. 14. American metalheads had been anxiously awaiting the return of Gojira, who were originally set to join Lamb of God and Dethklok on tour throughout North America. Unfortunately, due to Randy Blythe ‘s Czech incarceration, the tour was canceled much to the disdain of fans. To make up for these canceled dates, Gojira were able to play a small number of club shows before heading up to Canada for the Heavy T.O. and Heavy MTL festivals. The new video for ‘Explosia’ captures the pure heaviness of Gojira’s live performance, which was recounted by Loudwire in our coverage of Gojira’s Aug. 9 show at New York City’s Santos Party House. As our reporter noted, “If the overwhelming energy and aggression wasn’t enough to make to make the night a memorable one, the band’s chemistry onstage was undeniable as each member interacted and smiled face to face with fans.” Get ready for a pummeling of the senses as you check out Gojira’s video for ‘Explosia.’ Gojira, ‘Explosia’
