Ozzy Osbourne Rings in New Year With Granddaughter Pearl

Jack Osbourne: Official Instagram Get ready to say, “Awwwww.” Above is a pic of legendary Black Sabbath vocalist Ozzy Osbourne holding his newest granddaughter Pearl as the two celebrate the New Year together. Ozzy became a grandfather for the fifth time last year, when son Jack and now-wife Lisa Stelly welcomed the baby girl into the world. Jack Osbourne posted this picture of Ozzy and Pearl on his Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages last night (Jan. 1). This is the second picture of Ozzy and Pearl together that we’ve seen, as an earlier pic of the duo on the Sabbath singer’s private jet was revealed in November (see below). Hello! magazine was the first publication to introduce Pearl to the public shortly after she was born on April 24, 2012. “People say when you have a kid, it’s like instant love, but unless you’ve experienced it, it’s impossible to comprehend,” Jack Osbourne told Hello! “The moment I saw her, I felt more love than I’d ever felt for anything. It was the weirdest, most overwhelming thing.” Not only are we jealous of Pearl for having the coolest grandpa ever, but it’s likely that the child has already heard some of the new Sabbath album. Unfortunately for us, Pearl probably can’t be convinced to mail us a digital copy … yet. Green Day Streaming ‘¡Tre!’ In Its Entirety

Reprise The final installment of Green Day ‘s trilogy doesn’t hit stores for another week, but fans can get a sneak preview now. ‘¡Tré!’ is currently streaming in full at this location . The album will be released on Dec. 11. ‘¡Tré!’ was originally scheduled to be released in January of next year, but after frontman Billie Joe Armstrong entered rehab , the band canceled their remaining 2012 live shows and moved the album’s release to December. Drummer Tre Cool explained, “We feel bad we have to delay our tour, so to make up for it we want to give our fans the music earlier than we had planned. If we couldn’t be there to play it for you live, the least we could do was give you the next best thing.” ‘ ¡Uno! ‘ was released in September and ‘ ¡Dos! ‘ followed in November. Both albums were well-received, with Loudwire reviewers bestowing four out of five stars on each. After the three albums, Green Day will release the documentary ‘ ¡Quatro! ,’ which will give viewers a behind the scenes look at the recording process of ‘¡Uno!,’ ‘¡Dos!, and ‘¡Tre!.’ The complete documentary won’t be available until 2013, but a show with highlights from the film premiered on VH1 in November. It will be shown several more times on Palladia through Dec. 22. [button href=”http://www.iheartradio.com/iplaylist/artist/69310/” title=”Listen to Green Day – ‘¡Tré!’ ” align=”center”]

Guns N’ Roses’ Las Vegas Residency Leads to Temporary Road Name Change

Theo Wargo, Getty Images The city of Las Vegas is definitely pulling out the stops for Guns N’ Roses upcoming residency at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino . The latest welcome gift for the band was the temporary renaming of one of Las Vegas’ streets to mark the occasion, as Paradise Road will now be known as Paradise City Road. Blabbermouth reports that Clark County Commissioner Mary Beth Scow will declare the street as Paradise City Road during an official ceremony this coming Monday (Oct. 29) at 2:30PM local time. The band members will be presented with an official street sign, though in a recent Facebook posting , it looks as though they’ve already seen it. The group is expected to address the crowd and pose for photos. Guns N’ Roses residency runs from Oct. 31-Nov. 24 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Much like they did when Motley Crue came to town, the casino will have special Guns N’ Roses $25 chips to gamble with during the run. In addition, the casino has come up with a number of specialty themed Guns N’ Roses drinks , including such thirst-quenching concoctions as the November Rain, the Patience Punch, the Paradise City Limits and the Axl Rose. Guns N’ Roses have been making more high profile appearances leading up to the shows. The band recently performed at Neil Young ‘s Bridge School benefit and Axl Rose made an extremely rare late night appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live .
