However, the late Kurt Cobain ‘s 20-year-old daughter seems to pop into headlines every once in a while for reasons of which she has no control. On Saturday (Oct. 13), a man was arrested for breaking into Frances Bean’s Los Angeles home after a house sitter discovered him inside the dwelling, reports TMZ . The suspect, a white man in his 20s, told the house sitter that he was there with Frances Bean’s permission. However, when cops arrived at the Hollywood Hills home and reached out to Frances Bean, she told them she had no idea who he was. The man was subsequently arrested for burglary and remains in custody. Earlier this year, Franced Bean unwittingly made headlines when her mother, Courtney Love , accused Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl of hitting on her daughter. Love later apologized to her daughter after both Frances Bean and Grohl lashed out at the claims. Jim Dyson, Getty Images There’s been a loss in the Kiss family, as singer Paul Stanley is mourning the death of his mother, Eva Eisen. Eisen passed away Saturday (Sept. 29) at the age of 88. The official cause of death was not given. The vocalist has not only credited his mother with his love of music, but stated that she has always been there to support him through his musical endeavors, often turning up at Kiss shows. Kiss had recently come off the road, finishing “ The Tour ” with Motley Crue that was one of the highlights of the summer concert season. The band’s new album, ‘ Monster ,’ arrives Oct. 9. Stanley made a public statement about his loss at the Kiss website . It read: My mother found so much pleasure and fulfillment in all the various types of music that she loved so. It was through her that I, too, found that same passion. She lived long enough to see, enjoy and love an extended family that included her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She found numerous ways to contribute to her community and was appreciated and loved by those who knew her. My mom was the matriarch of our family and words cannot express our loss. His bandmates also chimed in with their thoughts and condolences in a brief posting. It read: From the earliest days of Kiss until recently, Eva was always seen by fans at New York-area shows. We send our deepest sympathies to Paul and his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Loudwire wishes to send our condolences to Paul Stanley and his family on their loss. Photo by Matthew Rodgers A year ago, Anthrax took the metal world by storm with ‘Worship Music,’ the band’s tenth studio album and first in eight years. ‘Worship Music’ also marked the return of vocalist Joey Belladonna, whose prior disc with Anthrax was 1990’s ‘Persistence of Time.’ When Loudwire recently caught up with bassist Frank Bello, we asked him about the one-year anniversary of ‘Worship Music’ and his reflections on the year since it’s release. “What I love about it is that I can listen to it today and a year later it feels as fresh as when it first came out” says Bello. “When we wrote it, let’s face it, there’s so many songs and here’s the deal with this – honestly when we’re going on tour I thought. ‘I want to play more songs from the record that we haven’t played yet’ and that’s the mark of the record that I like and how I know the record is that good for me.” It’s no secret that ‘Worship Music’ is loved by fans and critics alike. Bello spoke on this by saying, “From what I hear other people are saying it, everybody likes the whole record and for anybody to say after 30 years this is our finest record and our best record – that’s the ultimate compliment and that came across in a big way when we released it.” Bello continues, “I want to play so many more songs and we’re certainly not done with this record, I don’t think our fans aren’t done with it yet that’s why we’re not going to rush another record but it certainly won’t be eight years for the next record.” In addition to our conversation with Bello, the entire band released the following the following statement to celebrate the one year anniversary of ‘Worship Music.’ “To our Fans and everyone who has supported Anthrax and Worship Music : It was a little more than a year ago – September 13, 2011 – that Worship Music was released, and all of us in Anthrax can’t believe how much has happened since then. Our friends in the press gave the album great reviews, and so many writers singled it out as one of the best metal albums of the year. Our label just told us that Worship Music has just passed the 100,000 mark on albums sold. Spencer Kaufman, Loudwire Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong may have to put aside some of the band’s promotional activities while he enters rehab for substance abuse , but his appearance as a mentor on NBC’s hit music competition ‘ The Voice ‘ won’t be one of them. Deadline reports that the musician, who was recently announced as a mentor for Christina Aguilera ‘s team, will still be part of the upcoming episodes. “We’re taped and all set,” an NBC representative stated about Billie Joe’s time on the program, which was filmed over the summer and will air in the upcoming weeks. It was a rough weekend for the vocalist, who suffered an onstage meltdown in Las Vegas Friday night after noticing the band’s set time was running low. The vocalist stopped a song to go on a tirade that included numerous expletive-filled outbursts and ended with Armstrong smashing his guitar and flipping off those he felt were responsible for the time constraint. By Sunday, the group had offered a statement that Armstrong was entering rehab to seek treatment for substance abuse. They also apologized for Friday’s outburst at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas and clarified that their set had not been cut short by organizers. In addition, the band announced that a number of promotional appearances would be affected by the singer’s treatment stint. Green Day’s ‘¡Uno!’ album arrives in stores tomorrow.
