Bullet for My Valentine Unveil ‘Riot’ Video

YouTube Bullet for My Valentine ‘s audience has grown considerably over the recent years and their latest video, ‘ Riot ,’ reflects that evolution on a somewhat smaller scale. The band recently shot the clip in Brooklyn, N.Y., with director P.R. Brown and the video finds singer Matt Tuck as a bit of a hard rock pied piper as he roams the tough city streets. In the video, Tuck belts the track’s anti-establishment lyrics as he passes graffiti covered walls and multiple youths seem to heed his call, popping up as he walks by. As the song suggests, it’s not long before the sirens and the law are hot on the tail of Tuck and his growing following. But before you think that Tuck is rounding up the troops for some Michael Jackson ‘ Beat It ‘-like showdown, he heads down a dark alleyway and enters an abandoned warehouse lit only with swinging light bulbs as he and his bandmates rock the ‘Riot’ song for their newfound fans. ‘Riot’ can be heard on Bullet for My Valentine’s upcoming album, ‘ Temper Temper ‘ (due Feb. 12). Soundgarden Unleash New Single ‘Been Away Too Long’

Universal Republic What a fitting title for Soundgarden ‘s brand new single, since for all intents and purposes, they had ‘Been Away Too Long.’ Diehard fans of the Seattle band have missed them for the past several years, and while the reunion, live performances and ‘Avengers’ song ‘Live to Rise’ have been rad and appreciated, this is the beefy, puts-hair-on-your-chest Soundgarden rocker we’ve been waiting for. ‘Been Away Too Long’ is a frenetic, fast-paced song that calls to mind the band’s earlier catalog, thanks to raw, booming riffs, jackhammer percussion and Chris Cornell’s bluesy, soulful pipes. It’s got an anthemic and urgent quality, especially in the chunky verses. So if you’ve got long hair, this song is designed to get you to start whipping it around while rocking out with furious, reckless abandon. Overall, there’s not an overabundance of polish, and it’s not pretty, which is preferred. Instead, it’s potent, hell yeah, high-five hard rock. Just like we like it. The song will appear on the band’s upcoming album ‘King Animal,’ due out Nov. 13. After tearing through this song a few times, check out our 10 Best Soundgarden Songs list . Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne Engagement – Funniest Twitter Reactions

Many music fans were surprised to learn about Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger's engagement to pop star Avril Lavigne when People magazine broke the news last night (Aug. 21).
