Bullet for My Valentine, Halestorm + Young Guns Team Up for 2013 HardDrive Live Tour

Jo Hale, Getty Images / Mary Ouellette, SheWillShootYou.com (2) Bullet for My Valentine will headline the 2013 HardDrive Live tour, which is set to kick off in the coming months. Joining BFMV on the run will be  Halestorm  as main support and special guests  Young Guns . The timing is of the tour is perfect for the Welsh rockers, who will release their fourth studio album, ‘ Temper Temper ,’ on Feb. 12. The disc has already spawned the title track and their latest single ‘ Riot ,’ which should give the band plenty of momentum by the time they arrive stateside. Halestorm are riding high off a hot 2012, and may reach further heights when they find out on Feb. 10 whether or not they’ve won their first Grammy Award. The group’s latest album, ‘ The Strange Case Of… ,’ has kept them on the road over the past year and the disc’s lead single, ‘ Love Bites (So Do I) ,’ is the track that has them in Grammy contention for the Best Hard Rock / Metal Performance . Young Guns have spent the last year beginning to prove themselves outside of their native U.K. The group, who also has North American shows booked with 10 Years , has been promoting their ‘Bones’ album and seeing their star rise thanks to the album’s title track. Dates for the HardDrive Live Tour are expected to be revealed next week at the tour’s website . Bullet for My Valentine Unveil ‘Riot’ Video

YouTube Bullet for My Valentine ‘s audience has grown considerably over the recent years and their latest video, ‘ Riot ,’ reflects that evolution on a somewhat smaller scale. The band recently shot the clip in Brooklyn, N.Y., with director P.R. Brown and the video finds singer Matt Tuck as a bit of a hard rock pied piper as he roams the tough city streets. In the video, Tuck belts the track’s anti-establishment lyrics as he passes graffiti covered walls and multiple youths seem to heed his call, popping up as he walks by. As the song suggests, it’s not long before the sirens and the law are hot on the tail of Tuck and his growing following. But before you think that Tuck is rounding up the troops for some Michael Jackson ‘ Beat It ‘-like showdown, he heads down a dark alleyway and enters an abandoned warehouse lit only with swinging light bulbs as he and his bandmates rock the ‘Riot’ song for their newfound fans. ‘Riot’ can be heard on Bullet for My Valentine’s upcoming album, ‘ Temper Temper ‘ (due Feb. 12). Check out the artwork for the disc here . Bullet for My Valentine Reveal ‘Temper Temper’ Album Artwork

RCA Bullet for My Valentine recently revealed that their latest studio album, ‘ Temper Temper ,’ would be arriving on Feb. 11 and now we know what the album cover art looks like. The band has unveiled the artwork (see the image on the left) for their forthcoming release and it shows a darker side to the album’s title. Given that the title ‘Temper Temper’ suggests some hot-headedness, the imagery of a pair of bloody hands, palms up, is a striking one. The pose is almost mindful of a person who is looking down upon their hands contemplating the dastardly deed they’ve done, though we never actually see the person’s face. So far, the group has served up the album’s title track and a second single ‘ Riot ‘ to check out in advance of the disc’s release, but it is not known how those songs compare to the rest of the record. In addition, the band has also unleashed a music video for ‘Temper Temper,’ giving at least some visual representation of the song. Bullet for My Valentine fans have had to wait a little while for a new disc, as singer Matt Tuck spent much of 2012 balancing his time between Bullet and his other hard-edged band, AxeWound , who toured and released their debut disc last year. Tuck says having the other group did affect Bullet for My Valentine’s latest effort, explaining , “We approached the record a lot differently this time around. It was more inspired by the way I did the AxeWound record and that was basically: get in the studio and write and record as you went along.” Look for ‘Temper Temper’ in stores Feb. 11; you can also pre-order the disc here .
