Green Day Display ‘Stray Heart’ in Latest Video

Green Day being down a rehabbing member hasn’t kept them from releasing new music and even creating music videos. Rather than the band starring in the clip for their latest single, ‘Stray Heart,’ they’ve served up a concept video in which the stars are a guy with a gaping hole and his extremely mobile heart. The clip itself features a man hoping to win over his latest love, but finding out that his womanizing ways are coming back to haunt him courtesy of his “stray heart,” that has him tracking down the vital organ about town. ‘Stray Heart’ is the first ‘ ¡Dos! ‘ single. With the album arriving next week, the band issued a full stream of the disc for fans to check out earlier this week. However, as previously reported, Green Day are currently unable to get out and tour in support of their discs as singer Billie Joe Armstrong continues his substance abuse recovery in rehab. The group recently canceled the remainder of their 2012 tour schedule and postponed the first two months of touring for 2013 . They also pushed forward the ‘¡Tre!’ album to a Dec. 11 release as a way of making up for the fact that they’re not on the road. Green Day Reveal ‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn’-Themed Video for ‘The Forgotten’

Spencer Kaufman, Loudwire While Green Day dropped the unfortunate bomb earlier this week that they have to cancel all upcoming tour dates in 2012 and postpone most of their upcoming tour dates in January and February to allow their lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong to focus on his recovery from substance abuse, the band also offered up some good news, in the form of a new video for the song ‘The Forgotten.’ Although the band is one-third of the way through their release of a series of three new discs ‘¡Uno!,’ ‘¡Dos!,’ and ‘¡Tre!’ in the coming months, ‘The Forgotten’ can be found on the upcoming soundtrack for ‘ The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 .’ The soundtrack is due out on Nov. 13, a few days prior to the movie hitting the big screen. Kicking off on piano, musically ‘The Forgotten’ slow things down a little for the trio with the vampire meets pop-punk video showing off the softer side of Green Day. The clip, sure to appeal to both Green Day and ‘Twilight’ fans offers up a montage of alternating clips from the upcoming movie and bits of footage of Green Day in the studio and on the stage. Fans are already weighing in with feedback about the new song with comments like, “I love this, it’s so beautiful,” and “Amazing song!” Check it out below for yourself. Ill Nino Unleash Video for ‘La Epidemia’

Victory Records Their sixth studio album, ‘Epidemia,’ was released last week (Oct. 22), and now  Ill Niño has unveiled the video for ‘La Epidemia.’ Both the song and clip feature  Emmure vocalist Frankie Palmeri. The video for ‘La Epidemia’ was filmed at The Rave in Milwaukee, Wis. It features performance footage of the band, along with some backstage shots. Palmeri and Ill Nino’s Cristian Machado are shown doing vocals in an empty area of the venue. It wasn’t difficult to line up their schedules, since Ill Nino and Emmure were on tour together at the time. Machado spoke with SMNnews about their new album. The singer stated, “I truly feel it embodies who the band really is without compromising musical growth. To define our way of Latin Metal was the intention and, if we got 75 percent of the way there, we succeeded. The feeling, at the end of the day, should be had by the fans and not the band.” “The more we focus on our songs and just that, the better we are as band,” Machado continues. “Too much outside influence can sometimes ruin creativity and focus. In our case, we’ve walked the fine line between being focused and having identity crisis for a long time. These personal creative differences are not audible on ‘Epidemia,’ making it one of our strongest and more focused efforts.” After wrapping up that tour with Emmure, Ill Nino only has one other show currently on their 2012 calendar. They will perform in Marietta, Ga. on Dec. 8. Fear Factory Unveil ‘The Industrialist’ Video

Frazer Harrison, Getty Images Fear Factory  released their latest album ‘The Industrialist’ in June, and the band has now premiered the video for the title track via Metal Injection (watch below). The beginning of the seven minute clip is similar to a lyric video, with words from the spoken section appearing on the screen. But once the song kicks in, it becomes a traditional video that mixes performance footage with imagery taken from the album artwork. Vocalist Burton C. Bell talked about ‘The Industrialist’ with Full Metal Jackie. “There’s something so tight about this record, it’s very natural even though it was a focused and a very deliberate album that we were writing and it all came very naturally to us,” Bell said. “We were very focused and I think that word right there, is the one thing that is on this record that doesn’t really appear on any other record, the focus of the music, the sounds, the aggression and the concept and just everything. Everything had it’s purpose and we knew exactly what we were doing, we knew exactly what we had to do.” Fear Factory will embark on a European tour with Devin Townsend beginning on Saturday, Oct. 27. They also have one U.S. date scheduled for Jan. 26, 2013, in West Hollywood. Watch Fear Factory’s ‘The Industrialist’ Video

Cradle of Filth Reveal ‘Frost on Her Pillow’ Music Video

Nuclear Blast The time is almost upon us for Cradle of Filth to unveil their tenth studio album, ‘The Manticore and Other Horrors.’ The band has already given fans a peak into the disc with the tracks ‘Manticore’ and ‘For Your Vulgar Delectation,’ but now the goth metal act has released a video for ‘Frost on Her Pillow.’ The visuals are quintessential Cradle of Filth. ‘Frost on Her Pillow’ brings the feeling of an 1800s masquerade ball with a much darker focus. As the video switches between shots of the band performing in a dark attic and the story, a voodoo witch doctor and a demonic figure that lurks in the darkness stalk the video’s heroine. There’s no sign of a manticore (a mythical creature with a human head, lion’s body and a dragon or scorpion’s tail) just yet, but perhaps we’ll see one from the band soon. Cradle of Filth vocalist Dani Filth recently described the band’s upcoming record in a press release. “This is our tenth commandment in metal,” begins Filth. “We have diversified and kept alive the spirit of this band and breathed it into something that I can proudly say, slays like an absolute motherf—er. The Manticore is coming … Long live the filth!” Check out Cradle of Filth’s captivatingly dark music video for ‘Frost on Her Pillow’ in the player below. Royal Bliss Raise the Stakes with ‘Crazy’ Video

New Ocean Media Royal Bliss have struck a chord with their single ‘Crazy,’ and there’s now a striking new video that accompanies the track. At first, the clip seems like a normal tale of a father on the road who’s missing his family, with the song featuring lyrics like, “ I wish you knew that if I could I’d stay ” and “ I’m crazy for you baby, can’t you see, and I’m wondering if you’re crazy just like me .” However, the Chris Le-directed short film takes the seemingly familiar theme of a musician being away from home and ups the ante with a more intense conclusion. Singer Neal Middleton exclusively tells Loudwire, “‘Crazy’ is a song that means a lot to me personally. It’s a hard one to sing sometimes. I wrote it originally about my son, and being away from him on the road. You really do miss out on a lot of moments that you can never get back. I now have two boys so it is double hard. I also have an amazing wife that has been a huge support for me. She is my other ‘Baby.’” Because of his attachment to his family, Middleton says the Chris Le treatment really hit home with him. He recalls, “We didn’t want the video to be a boring literal depiction. So Chris came up with the concept of the video being based in a post-apocalyptic scenario. I have to leave my family again because we are one of the only bands left on the planet and we must help rebuild the world with rock and roll – bring people together ya know. He sold us on it for sure and we think he did a hell of a job with very, very little budget.” The clip will also always have a special meaning for Middleton, who says of his co-stars, “The beautiful girl and handsome lil’ man is my real wife and son. It meant a lot to me to have them involved. They did a great job. Everyone who worked on this video worked for free. Even where we filmed it was donated. The hangar you see us playing in was the hangar that housed the Enola Gay. They did all their training there at the Wendover airport to drop the bomb. Kind of a fitting backdrop for a post-apocalyptic based video. We hope you enjoy it.” Royal Bliss are currently on tour, with North American dates lined up into December. They are set to unleash ‘With a Smile’ as the next single off their latest album, ‘Waiting Out the Storm.’ Watch Royal Bliss’ ‘Crazy’ Video [button href=”http://loudwire.com/royal-bliss-neal-middleton-performs-i-heard-it-through-the-grapevine-on-the-voice/” title=”Next: Royal Bliss’ Neal Middleton Performs on ‘The Voice'” align=”center”]
